The tipping point. What pushed me over the edge to finally start my own website and blog.

The truth is, it's easy to put off starting something new, even when it's something we're passionate about. It's comfortable to stay within our comfort zone and not take risks. However, sometimes all it takes is a little nudge or push to finally take the leap and pursue our dreams. For me, having my photographs selected to be displayed in a customer gallery at Leica was just that push.

The feeling of validation and recognition that comes with having your work displayed in a public space is a powerful motivator. It's a sign that someone else sees value in what you do and believes that it's worthy of being seen and appreciated by others. That sense of validation can be just the confidence boost we need to take the first step towards our dreams.

For me, the recognition from Leica served as a reminder that my passion for photography and travel was something special and worth sharing with others. It reminded me that I had a unique perspective and voice that could be heard through my work. That realization was the tipping point that pushed me over the edge to finally start my own website and blog.

I see creating a personal website as an exciting journey. It's an opportunity to showcase your work, share your passions, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals. For me it's also a fantastic growth opportunity to learn new skillsets outside of my career path and build additional income streams.

In conclusion, it's important to remember that validation can come from unexpected places. Whether it's a recognition from a brand like Leica, or simply positive feedback from friends and family, it's important to acknowledge and embrace those moments of validation. Let them serve as the motivation and push we need to take the first step towards our dreams. I'm excited to start on this new journey of sharing my passion with the world, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
